Uneventful trip down, the van coped well with being over loaded and the horsebox didn't seem too put out at being asked to move a kitchen.
We managed to cruise near 60 mph most of the time but a bit less going up the hills. Getting it all unloaded today felt like the end of another phase and it felt good.
Unfortunately due to some poor rope work by me, some of the carcasses came loose and fell about a bit during the journey, so that second hand kitchen looks a little more second hand now but it should be fine if I take my time fitting it in place.
Despite the huge volume of stuff accumulated and moved there was one significant oversight. Talking to Sue and Paul on Friday night I realized we had forgotten to pack a box of tea (Liptons Yellow Label isn't really tea). Fortunately Paul being a proper builder, has everything and generously donated a box so that the project can continue.
A very close shave indeed because tomorrow the real work begins. We'll be needing those.
