The next big job (possibly the biggest single task of the whole exercise) was to cut through the floor and dig out and run new soil pipes.
With Jim, Martin and I alternating between tools it took a long two days to do the excavation and by the end we'd christened the sections 'Tom', 'Dick' and 'Harry'.
Lots of other jobs were being done along side this one - Martin has had a fire burning all day, every day and the barrel is now full of ash. Among other things; two sofas, two arm chairs and all the old kitchen cupboards converted to dust.
Plenty of good planning discussions with the chaps over pipe and wire runs and those all look settled for me to progress once they return home, however..
French Air Traffic Controllers have called a strike. Ryanair have cancelled flights and the next one isn't due to leave for another three days.
..Unable to fly home.. hang on, haven't we been here before?
They've earned a day off today to do some touristy stuff - so we're going looking for the next restoration project at the old car shop near Limoges and to Oradour for some history.
